IP Australia is sought information from users of the Australian Patent system that file for computer-related inventions. They have heard from some users that recent court decisions have not provided certainty on the patentability of computer-implemented inventions. The concern is that this uncertainty affects innovative businesses’ IP strategies and commercial activities.
